New Security Certifications at CompStar
Mishawaka. Alex Petrovic, Senior Systems Engineer
at CompStar Technologies, has become a Certified Information
Systems Security Professional (CISSP). The CISSP designation
is offered by the International Information Systems Security
Certification Symposium, and requires the candidate to have
demonstrated experience in the field of information security,
passed a rigorous examination, subscribe to a Code of Ethics
and maintain certification with continuing education.
In addition to the CISSP designation, Alex also earned his
CheckPoint Certified Professional (CCP) certification.
CheckPoint Software is the largest maker of business-oriented
security solutions.
Alex also holds advanced certifications from Microsoft, Novell,
and Cisco.
CompStar Technologies installs a wide variety of technologies
for network and data protection, including firewalls,
intrusion prevention, virus protection, data backup, etc.
